Gone are the days when we used to watch the male and female jumping around the garden attempting to tie, males getting 'stuck out', slip ties and guess work as to when is the best time is to mate. Wow it really was hit and miss in them days!

Screening sperm quality and volume

Being ambitious and wanting to move on from garden dancing !!!! We did after that learn to carry out our own Artificial inseminations and used to do them in our kitchen at home. If I'm honest we had quite a good success rate but year on year we have always wanted to improve, be professional and move forward.

We had over the years, progressed from garden dancing to kitchen mating but we wanted to improve our practices still further so felt it was best for our dogs in our breeding program and our customers that we carried out all our matings at a professional K9 Fertility clinic.

For sometime now we have been working hand in hand with one of the UKs top clincs @onestopk9fertility based in Backworth, Newcastle. With the advantage of high quality testing in regards to Progesterone testing, cytology, semen quality testing and artificial insemination in a clinical environment our success rate is thought the roof. This is all down to the skilled work Jo and her team at @onestopk9fertility deliver time and time again.
