A proud moment when we realised our bloodlines had went full circle and returned to us in the form of Jonny @blackstaff_uk !!!
In 2021 order to further strengthen the black lines within our breeding programme we set about in search for the perfect black stud. We considered many but one boy stood out due to his physical attributes stunning black coat, great head and ears, short, muscular and compact. In fact a black version of our very first stud Major, he had that distinctive old school look…….Could this be a Coincidence ? absolutely not, when we did our research into his lines before we made our final decision and we found several SBTs we had either bred or owned featured in his pedigree including of course our very own Major !!

Back in 2011, before we had our kennel name of Vaderblustaf one of our pups Cena (SKYWALKERS BLUESON) left us to live with his new family and one of our females Star (BLUE AITHER GIRL) went to live with one of our best friends Adrian.
At that time Blue Bouncer was the the top boy, a son of a Valglo, super impressive muscular boy with a really deep dark blue coat so we got Adrian to take Star (BLUE AITHER GIRL) to use him as stud and star went on to have, which still to this day is one of the finest litters I’ve ever seen producing Opra (TWINKLE LITTLE STARK)

Our bloodlines met again when one of our boys SKYWALKERS BLUESON went on to have a litter with the daughter of Star TWINKLE LITTLE STARK. One of the pups from this union ST PIERRE BLUESON went on the father @blackstaff_uk Jonny!
So you can see how sentimental it was to use Jonny as stud in 2021 with our girl Double Denim and so strengthen our black lines.
It's easier to see this in the pedigree (below) the SBTs circled red are dogs we have either bred or owned. When we realised the part our dogs played in Jonnys bloodline it made us determined to use Jonny as stud on one of our best girls Darcy BLACK DENIM and bring our lines from a decade ago full circle and stamp Jonnys own qualities on the quality have at Vaderblustaf.
We had a lovely litter of 6 pups and we kept Iris VADERBLUSTAF BLACK DENIM who is a testament to everything we had done at Vaderblustaf over the last decade, our bloodlines coming full circle and our vision of strengthening our black lines within our breeding programme.

We will continue moving forward with our philosophy of progressively strengthening our black lines within our breeding programme.
